Acefood was first founded under the name PT. Sentral Multirasa Utama in 1986 with the commitment to fulfill the global snack food needs. The first manufacturing plant was built in Bogor area, Indonesia.

The company began to develop cassava and potato based snack foods. In fact, we are the First snack foods company that innovates and manufactures Crinkle Cut Cassava Chips in Indonesia. Local market response was remarkable because of the good quality and taste of the products. We are well known by consumer with the following brands: "Chuba", "Mr. Hottest", "Maitos" and "Tes".

The company then developed other innovative products based on corn ingredient such as corn extruded snacks which obtained good response from the market and soon became the market leader.
